PTFE SKIVED SHEET & MOLDED SHEETS
Top-Quality PTFE Skived Sheets & Molded Sheets
Babuji Teknoflon is one of India’s established manufacturers of PTFE sheets, offering both skived and molded variants for industrial and engineering applications. Manufactured from high-quality PTFE resins and processed under stringent quality controls, our sheets provide excellent resistance to chemicals, heat, weathering, and electrical stress. Available in a wide range of thicknesses and dimensions, our PTFE sheets are suitable for gaskets, linings, insulation, slide bearings, wear pads, and precision machined components.
PTFE SKIVED SHEETS
PTFE Skived Sheets are manufactured by skiving thin layers from a fully sintered PTFE billet using specialized precision skiving machines. This process enables the production of continuous PTFE sheets in a wide range of thicknesses while maintaining excellent dimensional consistency and surface finish.
Skived sheets are preferred where flexibility, large sheet sizes, and thinner gauges are required. They offer the outstanding chemical resistance, low friction, non-stick properties, electrical insulation, and high-temperature performance for which PTFE is renowned.
PTFE Skived Sheets are extensively used in gasket manufacturing, expansion joints, slide bearings, lining applications, electrical insulation, release surfaces, and chemical processing equipment.

PTFE MOLDED SHEETS
PTFE Molded Sheets are manufactured through compression molding followed by sintering under carefully controlled conditions. This process produces dense, homogeneous sheets with excellent mechanical properties and dimensional stability.
Molded sheets are generally preferred for thicker sections where superior flatness, reduced internal stresses, and higher structural integrity are required. They are widely used for machined components, bearing pads, wear plates, sealing elements, and heavy-duty industrial applications.
Like all PTFE products, molded sheets offer exceptional chemical resistance, excellent electrical insulation, low coefficient of friction, and continuous service temperatures up to 260°C.

SODIUM ETCHED PTFE SHEETS
PTFE is naturally non-stick and difficult to bond with adhesives. Sodium Etching modifies the PTFE surface chemically, creating a bondable layer that allows strong adhesion to metals, rubber, composites, and other substrates.
Sodium Etched PTFE Sheets are widely used wherever PTFE must be permanently bonded to another material while retaining PTFE’s exceptional chemical resistance and low friction properties.
Typical applications include bridge bearings, slide plates, tank linings, vessel linings, expansion joints, wear pads, and composite engineering structures.
Available in both one-side and two-side etched configurations.
FEP FILMS
Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) Films combine the excellent chemical resistance and non-stick properties of fluoropolymers with superior transparency and heat-sealing capability.
FEP Films exhibit exceptional dielectric properties, UV resistance, weatherability, and excellent optical clarity. Unlike PTFE, FEP can be heat sealed, making it ideal for applications requiring encapsulation and transparent protective barriers.
Common applications include solar panels, aerospace components, electrical insulation, laboratory equipment, release films, and chemical processing systems.
PFA FILMS
Perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) Films provide the highest level of fluoropolymer performance, combining excellent chemical resistance with superior high-temperature capability and exceptional purity.
PFA Films offer outstanding resistance to aggressive chemicals, low extractables, excellent electrical properties, and continuous service temperatures up to 260°C.
They are extensively used in semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceutical processing, chemical handling systems, aerospace applications, and high-purity fluid transfer systems.
TENSILIZED PTFE FILMS
Tensilized PTFE Films are produced through a specialized process that aligns the molecular structure of PTFE, significantly increasing tensile strength while reducing thickness.
Compared to conventional PTFE films, tensilized films exhibit improved strength-to-weight ratio, enhanced dimensional stability, and superior performance in demanding applications.
These films are commonly used in high-performance electrical insulation, aerospace systems, specialty tapes, diaphragms, membranes, and engineered industrial products where high tensile properties are critical.
KAPTON® POLYIMIDE FILMS
Polyimide Films, commonly known under the Kapton® trade name, are high-performance engineering films designed for extreme temperature and electrical insulation applications.
Unlike Polyamide materials (commonly used in nylons), Polyimide films retain their mechanical and electrical properties over a much wider temperature range and exhibit exceptional resistance to heat, radiation, and chemicals.
These films are widely used in flexible printed circuits, aerospace systems, battery insulation, transformers, motors, electronics manufacturing, and high-temperature masking applications.
Key Features:
- Excellent thermal stability
- Outstanding dielectric strength
- High mechanical strength
